Public Skate Descriptions
Children 5 years and under must wear a CSA-approved hockey helmet; helmets are recommended for all ages.
A quieter, relaxed public skate during daytime hours.
Please note that hockey equipment is not permitted. For safety, a CSA-approved hockey helmet is required for children 5 years and under, and recommended for all ages.
Parent & Child Skate/Stick & Puck (children under 6 yrs)
Children under 6 years of age can enjoy some fun on the ice with a parent. Parents must accompany their child on the ice and wear skates.
Parent & Child Skate
Parents must accompany their children on the ice, wearing skates. Skating aids are permitted. Children are required to wear CSA approved hockey helmets with attached face mask. CSA approved hockey helmet is recommended for parents too.
Parent & Child Stick & Puck
Parents must accompany their children on the ice, wearing skates. The purpose of this program is to provide an opportunity to practice and develop skating, stick-handling and passing skills in a relaxed non-competitive atmosphere.
Children are required to wear CSA approved hockey helmets with attached face mask. CSA approved hockey helmet is recommended for parents too. Nets are provided and skating aids are not permitted on the ice.
