Please be advised that the Heritage Pickering Advisory Committee Meeting scheduled for
February 25, 2026 at 7:00 pm has been cancelled, as there are no matters for consideration.
Please be advised that all City of Pickering programs are cancelled today, Wednesday, February 18, 2026 from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm due to continuing severe weather and current road conditions. All facilities remain open. Programs are planned to resume as scheduled tomorrow morning, Thursday, February 19, 2026.
Please be advised that due to inclement weather, the meeting format for the Accessibility Advisory Committee Meeting scheduled for February 18, 2026 at 7:00 pm has changed. The meeting will no longer be held in the Main Committee Room at the Civic Complex. This meeting will instead be held in a solely electronic format.
Purpose: Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex is a designated Warming Centre during cold weather warnings.
Duration: Thursday, February 12, 2026 until Friday, February 13, 2026 at noon
Due to large scheduled events in the facility, parking spaces may be limited during the month of February.
Beachpoint Park is temporarily closed until further notice due to plumbing issues.

The Regional Municipality of Durham will begin construction of advanced roadway illumination on Brock Road (Regional Road 1) from Taunton Road (Regional Road 4) to Alexander Knox Road (Regional Road 40) in the City of Pickering
Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex Pool between 7:30 am-5:00 pm on Friday, February 20th, 2026 for the LOSSA swim meet.
Duration: June 2025 to November 2025

Please note that due to mechanical problems affecting the boilers, the closure of Dunbarton Indoor Pool has been extended until Thursday, February 5th, 2026, inclusive.
