Program Cancellations and Service Disruptions

Cancellation of swim programs and public swim at CHDRC Pool for a swim meet. 

Duration: Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25, 2026, inclusive

Contractors will begin renovations to the family, men’s, and women’s washrooms on the ground floor of the Pickering Public Library Central Branch on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The project is scheduled to be completed by Friday, March 6, 2026.

Please be advised that the Planning & Development Committee Meeting scheduled for January 12, 2026 at 7:00 pm has been cancelled, as there are no matters for consideration.

Whitevale Road from Sideline 24 to Peter Matthews Drive will be temporarily closed to facilitate future development.

Duration: Saturday, December 20, 2025 to Sunday, February 1, 2026

Whitevale Road, between North Road and Sideline 28, will be temporarily closed for construction traffic management purposes.

Elevators at the Pickering Civic Complex and Library will be closed for maintenance on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, during the following times:

Pickering Public Library: 7:00 am – 12:00 pm
Civic Complex: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
