Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

As one of the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act 2005 (AODA), the City of Pickering prepares a Multi-Year Accessibility Plan. This Plan sets out the steps the City will take to:
  • work toward removing existing barriers for persons with disabilities
  • plan for the prevention of new barriers, and
  • achieve compliance with the AODA regulations

Each year, the City prepares a report which provides information about the progress that has been achieved towards meeting the goals of the Plan.
