April 23, 2025 - The City of Pickering is thrilled to announce that Petapolooza with our presenting partner, Pet Valu, is back on Saturday, May 10 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at Esplanade Park.

A Statutory Public Meeting is being held to consider an Information Report regarding the following proposal. This meeting will provide interested parties the ability to learn more about the proposal and provide comments and feedback. No decisions are being made regarding this proposal at this meeting.

The City of Pickering is preparing the City Centre Transportation Master Plan to identify transportation needs and challenges within the City’s downtown core for future intensification over a 10-year and 20-year development horizon. A Public Information Centre will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.
April 11, 2025 – The City of Pickering marked a significant milestone in its 25th anniversary celebrations with the unveiling of specially curated art banners, now prominently displayed on the exteriors of Pickering City Hall and the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex (CHDRC).

March 28, 2025 – City staff will resume their participation in Council and Standing Committee meetings beginning with the Executive Committee Meeting on April 7, 2025. This decision follows the implementation of key measures through amendments to the Procedure By-law, passed at the March 24th Council meeting, intended to ensure a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment for staff and all participants.
