Pickering, ON, June 11, 2026 – On behalf of the City of Pickering and all Members of Council, I extend our deepest condolences to the families, friends, colleagues, and loved ones of Ontario Provincial Police Constable Tarun Bali and Toronto Police Service Constable Marc Pinizzotto. Pickering, ON, June 8, 2026 – In 2025, City staff filed a harassment complaint against Councillor Robinson under the City’s Respect in the Workplace Policy, citing an ongoing campaign of bullying, intimidation, and persistent harassing conduct directed at staff that began in 2024.

Pickering, ON, May 29, 2026 – The City of Pickering will host a planned emergency preparedness exercise on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in partnership with the Region of Durham’s Emergency Social Services program. The exercise will test activation and operation of a municipal evacuation centre and coordinated support for evacuees during a simulated emergency.
