The temporary road closure of Glenanna Road and the east sidewalk from the north limit of The Esplanade North to the entrance of the Health Services Centre, approximately 100 metres south of Kingston Road. In addition, the west sidewalk of Glenanna Road from Pickering Parkway to The Esplanade South will remain closed. Both vehicle and pedestrian detours have been provided, and all applicable signage will be posted.

Purpose: To facilitate the Installation of the Region of Durham’s watermain.

Duration: Monday, June 29, 2026 to Thursday, July 2, 2026

The City of Pickering has received an application for Consent. The City is required to process and review all complete applications under the Planning Act. The Regional Municipality of Durham will begin construction of advanced roadway illumination on Brock Road (Regional Road 1) from Taunton Road (Regional Road 4) to Alexander Knox Road (Regional Road 40) in the City of Pickering
