Pickering Public Library – Central Branch: Reopening Saturday, December 6th at 9:30 am

Anticipation is a permanent bronze sculpture of a nesting Canadian goose that commemorates local resident, Paul White, one of Pickering's longest serving presidents of a community association.
Mr. Dressup’s Magic is a permanent public art tribute to one of Canada’s most beloved cultural figures, Mr. Dressup, starring the incomparable Ernie Coombs.
November 25, 2025 – The City of Pickering is developing new Cultural, Museum, and Public Art Plans to guide programs and services from 2026 to 2036, and community input is being sought.
On the Path Forward, by Taylor De Nobrega (2025), honors the deep connection between the people and the land that have shaped Pickering. This piece is part of a project commemorating the 25th anniversary of Pickering’s transition from a town to a city.
Crimson Inflorescence is a new permanent public artwork by Linfeng Zhou installed on eleven light posts (11) in Esplanade Park in Pickering.
Migizi (Bald Eagle) Saves The World is a new temporary public artwork by Nyle Miigizi Johnston to be installed on the balcony (facing Esplanade Park) of City Hall. The work is to be unveiled on November 15, 2024, as part of Winter Nights, City Lights 2024 and it will remain on site until January 31, 2025. This work is funded by Ontario Power Generation (OPG).
“Our House” by Dorsey James located in Rotary Frenchman’s Bay West Park, Pickering.
ayukwenodih ('They have found their voice') is a new permanent public artwork by JAH QUBE X TAMMARO to be installed at the intersection of Kingston Rd and Whites Rd in Pickering. The work is to be unveiled in Fall 2024.
Water is Medicine is a public artwork created by the art collective Dbaajmowin (story/narrative, Ojibwe Eastern and Odawa dialect) and supported by SpruceLab Inc. The work is located at Rotary Frenchman's Bay West.
