This is a responsible step to ensure we secure optimum value of our investment for our long-term financial objectives and needs. The City of Pickering is holding a Special Council Meeting to initiate a review of its Official Plan. This is the beginning of a multi-year project, Pickering Forward, that will help shape the growth of Pickering to 2051.

The public meeting will provide interested parties the ability to learn more about the Official Plan review process and provide opinions about the types of changes to the Official Plan that may be needed.
