Pickering, ON, July 8, 2026 – The City of Pickering is inviting residents to help shape a new Online Service Portal that will make it easier to access City services, submit requests, and track the status and progress online through a personalized profile. The portal is part of Pickering’s continued focus on citizen-first service and good governance, giving residents more choice in how they connect with the City.
Take Notice that the Council of The Corporation of The City of Pickering passed Heritage Designation By-law 8275/26 on June 22, 2026 under Section IV of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. O.18
The City of Pickering has received an application for Consent. The City is required to process and review all complete applications under the Planning Act. These applications have been delegated to the Director, City Development & CBO for decision. Members of the public may submit written comments by email to City Development. As a mark of respect and remembrance, flags at City facilities will fly at half-mast in recognition of their service and sacrifice.
Pickering, ON, June 8, 2026 – In 2025, City staff filed a harassment complaint against Councillor Robinson under the City’s Respect in the Workplace Policy, citing an ongoing campaign of bullying, intimidation, and persistent harassing conduct directed at staff that began in 2024.
